The Department of Automobile Engineering, UVPCE-GUNI organized a webinar entitled “Introduction to Computational Fluid Dynamics”. The session was delivered by Dr. Pavan Prakash Duvvuri from Cummins India Ltd, Pune. Dr. Pavan Prakash is working as a Technical Specialist in Combustion Research team of Cummins (world’s largest diesel engine manufacturer) since 2011 and has recently completed his PhD from IIT-Bombay. The above technical session was conducted online via Google Meet. Total 78 participants (from GUNI and outside GUNI) including students as well as faculty members had attended this expert technical session. During the technical session, Dr. Pavan Prakash had briefly explained about basic equations and technics of CFD as well as application areas of CFD. Few questions were asked by students which were briefly and satisfactorily answered by Dr. Pavan Prakash. On the whole, the session was very informative, and students really enjoyed it.
