Honours and Minor
Minor/Hons. (Specialization) along with B.Tech. Program
Students of Undergraduate degree in Engineering of Ganpat University have unique opportunities to pursue Minor/Hons. (specialization) along with the Major degree (B.Tech). Students wishing to have Minor/Hons. (specialization) need to earn additional 15 to 20 credits in the offered domains. A student can choose Minor/Hons. (specialization) starting from the fourth semester onwards.
Minor/ Hons. (Specialization) is an option rather than a requirement for B. Tech students. They may opt for one of the below mentioned Minor/ Hons. (Specialization), with earning of additional credits.

* For any other Major Disciplines which is not mentioned, it may be offered as Minor Degree.
General Guidelines:
- Students who will take Minor/Hons. (specialization) over and above the regular curriculum, they will have to study additional courses, which will be offered for respective Minor/Hons. (specialization) during morning/evening (on working days) time and Saturday, Sunday.
- Teaching and Examination Scheme, Evaluation Scheme, Passing Standard, Grading System and Attendance and other relevant matters are concerned, the Academic Regulation of University will be made applicable and separate certificates will be issued in addition to regular degree programme mentioning that the student has earned Minor/Hons. (specialization).
Fees: The Minor/Hons. (specialization) will be offered to interested students on payment basis @ Rs. 800/credit. The total fees of the Minor/Hons. (specialization) is to be paid at the time of registration in semester III.
Eligibility: No pending backlog in all previous semesters.
