Greetings from the Department of Electrical Engineering!!!

The department offers B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. Programs in Electrical Engineering. Department of Electrical Engineering is renowned for its student-centered pedagogy, and Practical based teaching and learning. Department is very rich in terms of research. More than 40% of teaching staff who have been awarded with Ph. D. Degree and rest of them are pursuing their Ph. D. in various fields of Electrical Engineering. The Department works hard to overcome theoretical and practical knowledge gaps via current curriculum and interdisciplinary learning. The Department has well-equipped labs in Power Electronics and Electrical Vehicle, Electrical Machines, Electrical Power Systems, and High Voltage Engineering where students can use modern hardware and simulation tools to gain hands-on experience in electrical engineering.

Department covers practically major sub-disciplines including Power Systems, Power Electronics, Microprocessor, Microcontroller, Control Systems, Cyber Security, Digital Signal Processing, Artificial Intelligence, and IoT networks etc. Department offers Hons. (Specialization) along with B. Tech Electrical Degree in Renewable Energy, Automation & Control and Electrical Vehicle. Department also offers a Minor Degree in Computer Science, Additive Manufacturing System, and Cyber Security.

Department established a dedicated project and research laboratories for the students and research scholars. The Department, boasting a highly qualified staff, state-of-the-art labs, and advanced software and hardware resources, plays a significant role in fostering lifelong learning abilities among its graduate and postgraduate students.
