Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering was formed in 1998. It stands as one of the earliest departments of Ganpat Uni- U. V. Patel College of Engineering.  Our alumni stand as our greatest assets, with students settled across the globe in renowned industries. Presently, our students hold positions at esteemed companies like Oracle-USA, Intel-USA, Deloitte-USA, Google-USA, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant-USA, e-Infochips, TCS, IBM, L&T, and numerous others. Alongside essential program knowledge, we also provide comprehensive training to our students in aptitude, communication skills, presentation skills, personality development, team building, and more. We possess outstanding resources and state-of-the-art infrastructure for our students. Our expectation is that our students develop holistically beyond their academic pursuits.All faculties of EC department have M.E./M.Tech. Degrees and some faculties are currently pursuing Ph.D. in different areas.

The department arranges a variety of placement activities, frequent indusrial visits, workshops, seminars, and project competitions to enhance students' competencies. Additionally, it has built a network of highly experienced and qualified industry and academic professionals who provide regular guidance to improve the teaching-learning process and assist in developing course content aligned with industry demands.

The rapid progressions in IoT, AI and wireless technologies have significantly shrunk the world today. Emerging technologies have facilitated swift and precise communication. Our objective is to provide top-tier education in the field of electronics & communication. Equipped with efficient knowledge gained here, our students are prepared to tackle the challenges presented by modern industries. Our curriculum is tailored to fulfill industry demands, especially in the flourishing semiconductor sector.
