Computer Engineering Courses

Due to the large scope of our field, the department curriculum is flexible which is essential to gain a competitive advantage in an expanding career fields. Elective coursework, combining open electives, and industrial training adds to the vitality of our curriculum. Curriculum revision workshops are conducted at regular intervals in the department to modify the syllabus and scheme of U.G. & P.G. programmes. The Computer Engineering Department of U. V. Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Engineering / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Engineering (Artificial Intelligence)

Goal:  The department will provide high quality undergraduate and graduate education in computer engineering by enhancing teaching effectiveness, refining curriculum to keep the program current with the rapidly changing computer technology and providing equipment/facilities for students to access and gain practical experience.

Objectives:

  1. Maintain & upgrade the course & resources so they exceed the accreditation criteria

  2. Successful performance in graduate or professional degree programs

  3. To produce high skilled & industry ready technocrats

  4. To encourage the graduates students for entrepreneurships

  5. Enhance their skills and embrace new computing technologies through self-directed professional development and post-graduate training or education

Strategies:

  1. Modify and improve the undergraduate curriculum as per the industry needs based on advice of expert academician and industrialist.

  2. To reach accreditation standards through program outcomes assessment, continuous curriculum improvements in terms of contents & implementation and to attract and retain dedicated, experienced human resource.

  3. Dedicated and active entrepreneurship cell to help the students in best possible way.

Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Computer Engineering

Goal:  To promote the development of innovative systems and solutions using hardware and software integration.

Objectives:

  1. Focus on departmental resources to attract highly qualified graduate students

  2. To provide research centric environment.

  3. Encourage the students to work on cutting edge technology and societal benefit research.

Strategies:

  1. Give stipends to the student which is nationally competitive to attract excellent students.

  2. To provide special support & research environment to faculty members

  3. Develop & maintain excellent research laboratories so students will get outstanding learning opportunities.
