Prof. Sumit Sharma serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and is actively engaged in teaching, research and academic coordination activities. He has completed his M.E. in Geotechnical Engineering from L.D. College of Engineering (Ahmedabad) in the year 2016 and B.E from Smt. S. R. Patel Engineering College (Unjha) in the year 2014. He is currently pursuing Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with research interests focused on geotechnical and foundation engineering. His academic and professional interests include soil mechanics, ground improvement techniques, foundation analysis and sustainable infrastructure development. Along with teaching core civil engineering subjects, he is actively involved in mentoring students, guiding internships and projects, and organizing industrial visits and technical activities. Prof. Sharma is committed to bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical engineering applications through outcome-based and industry-oriented education.
