Profile

        Dr. Mrunali Patel is an Assistant Professor at Ganpat University with a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Ganpat University, Gujarat. She has served as a Research Associate at Ganpat University, where she was actively involved in teaching undergraduate biotechnology courses, mentoring student research projects, and contributing to interdisciplinary research initiatives. Her academic expertise covers Biochemistry, Genetics, Cell Biology, Microbiology, Plant and Animal Biotechnology, Biophysics, Bioanalytical Techniques, and Food Technology. She has published several research articles in reputed Scopus and Web of Science-indexed journals and has contributed a book chapter on biocontrol agents for sustainable agriculture. Her work on plant-derived bio-colours has gained significant recognition and has been presented at numerous national and international conferences.

She holds six patents and design registrations in the fields of biotechnology and healthcare innovation. Her project on the development of a 3D-Printed Tablet Film Coating Machine was supported through the SSIP 2.0 initiative of the Government of Gujarat. Her contributions have been recognized with the Outstanding Shodh Award from the Government of Gujarat and the Director General Award from Ganpat University. She has served as a reviewer for several international scientific journals and delivered an expert talk on Bio-Colour at the World Intellectual Property Rights Conclave, New Delhi. She is committed to mentoring students and contributing to research in sustainable biotechnology and emerging life science technologies.
