Himanshu Patel is an Associate Professor and Head of Department, Department of Biomedical Engineering. My research areas are Medical image processing and Signal processing, AI and ML in Biomedical field, Medical Instrumentation and Control System Engineering. Started the carrier as a faculty member in the year 2000 and have 23 years of experience. During this period of my journey I have completed M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering from IIT-BHU and currently pursuing Ph.D. As an academician published 20+ research papers in various national/international conferences and journals. I have also contributed in the chapter name “Co-Relation of Physiological Signals and Therapy for Diagnostic Purpose of Periodic Limb Movement Disorder” is published in book “Advances of Bioengineering” by SpringerNature, Singapore. Several Under Graduate and Post Graduate projects guided including the sponsored projects. Organized 10+ seminar/workshop at institute level. Currently involve as a criteria coordinator for NAAC, part of institute level SSIP core committee, chairman of BoS of Diploma, B.Tech and M.Tech Biomedical Engineering. Also Life Member of “THE INDIAN SOCIETY FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION”.
