Prof. Apurvkumar Prajapati has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering since 2025. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Sankalchand Patel College of Engineering, Visnagar, in 2014, and obtained his M.E. in Geotechnical Engineering from L.D. College of Engineering in 2014. He is currently pursuing his PhD at Nirma University, where his doctoral research focuses on the dynamic behaviour of wall retaining solid waste mixed soil.

Before joining UVPCE, Ganpat University, he gained nearly 4.5 years of academic experience at Nirma University, AIET, and Sankalchand Patel University. He has actively supervised major B.Tech. projects and undergraduate research activities. Additionally, he worked with a consultancy firm for six months, gaining valuable practical and analytical exposure in civil engineering applications. He has published three journal papers and three book chapters and has attended six national and international conferences. His teaching and research interests include Geotechnical Engineering, Soil Dynamics, Retaining Walls, Ground Improvement Techniques, Solid Waste Utilisation, and Reinforced Earth Systems.
