Prof. Arjun Butala has been working as PG Coordinator (SE) and Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering Department since June 2012. He completed B.E. degree in Civil Engineering in 2009 from Government Engineering College, Modasa with Gold Medal from HNGU-Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan and M.Tech. degree in Computer Aided Structural Analysis and Design (CASAD) in 2012 from Nirma University. He had several publications in refereed journals and conferences at national and international levels. Apart, he has guided a number of student’s projects at UG and PG levels. His research interests include analysis and design of R.C.C concrete structures, progressive collapse analysis and design of structures, finite element analysis, etc. Also, he contributed a lot to various consultancy work for the department.
