ROBOCON Club
The Asia-Pacific Robot Contest (ABU Robocon) is an Asian Oceania College robot competition, founded in 2002 by Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union. In the competition robots compete to complete a task within a set period of time. The contest aims to create friendship among young people with similar interests who will lead their countries in the 21st century, as well as help advance engineering and broadcasting technologies in the region. The event is broadcast in many countries through ABU member broadcasters.
Objective:
Robocon Club prepares every year Robot as per international Robocon theme and participatesin National Robocon India. Speaking for students, its motto is to encourage them increase their knowledge and provide them with a platform to exhibit their practical knowledge and develop skills to work as a team. Not only this, it also brings out their interests and creativity which is obvious to raise their certain skills of being innovators. Other than this limelight qualities, certain qualities required in day-to-day life like leadership, expressing oneself, punctuality,etc. are all nurtured and raised. It also shifts them in a professional environment from this early stage making them well prepared for the professional sphere, they may encounter in the coming years.
