Dr. Vijay D. Patel (born in 1988, India) is an Associate Professor in the Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering Department at Ganpat University, U.V. Patel College of Engineering, Mehsana, Gujarat. He earned his B.Tech in Mechatronics Engineering from G.H. Patel College, SP University (2009), M.Tech from Ganpat University (2011), and Ph.D. from Ganpat University (2021), PostDoctoral (2025) from Singapore Institute of Technology.

Dr. Patel has guided studnts for national and international competitions. He has supervised 13+ M.Tech, 169+ B.Tech, and is currently guiding two Ph.D. scholars. His contributions have earned him multiple honors, including the President Award for Staff Excellence (2019, 2020,2001,2022), Best Idea Award, MATLAB Programming Award, and Innovative Professor of the Year (2021).

He has published 34 journal papers, 4 conference papers (including UGC Care, ScienceDirect, and Scopus-indexed), five patents, and Four books. He also serves as a reviewer for 16+ publication houses and received the 11 award.
